Instructions For Use
- The ideal temperature for using Pro II Dry-Mist Disinfection Machine ranges from 0ºC to 40ºC.
- If you use the Pro II Dry-Mist Disinfection Machine in a cold room, do not increase the room temperature immediately. It is recommended that you increase the room temperature to a normal level gradually.
- If the Pro II Dry-Mist Disinfection Machine is transferred into a warm environment from a cold place where it was stored initially, wait for at least half an hour before use to prevent malfunction due to condensation on the mechanical parts.
- It is recommended to use BioCair Air Purifying Solution with distilled water for optimal results. Water temperature should not be higher than 40ºC.
- To operate the machine, remove the water tank from the base and open the lid by turning it anticlockwise. Fill the water tank with BioCair Air Purifying Solution and distilled water at a 1:1 ratio, ensuring that the silicon washer is fitted in place and then close the lid by turning it clockwise.
- Connect to power supply, and power on by turning the mist intensity knob.
- When cleaning or moving the unit, please turn it off and remove the water tank as irregular movements may lead to overflow of water into the base, affecting its functionality.
Safety Features
The LED indicator light is green during normal operation. It will turn red when the water level runs low, indicating that a refill is needed for the water tank.
Product Notes
- Use only with BioCair Air Purifying Solution. Using essential oils or other liquids/ substances can lead to lasting machine damage, preventing the machine from operating efficiently.
- This machine can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been given supervision or instructions concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without adult supervision.
- Children should be supervised by a parent or guardian to prevent any potential hazards.
- Make sure to unplug the machine before filling and cleaning.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by BioCair Customer Care or a qualified person in order to avoid an electrical hazard.
Caution
- Additives like perfume and essential oils are not recommended for Pro II Dry-Mist Disinfection Machine use. It is prohibited to add alkaline substances into the water tank.
- When in operation, do not touch the water in the groove or other parts in case of an unexpected electrical shock.
- Do not direct the spray nozzle at children, furniture and walls, etc. Adjust it to face an empty space instead.
- Do not position the Pro II Dry-Mist Disinfection Machine towards any electrical appliances, sockets and material surfaces that are sensitive to water droplets.
- Do not leave it on unstable surfaces. When in operation, do not tilt or overturn it.
- In case of abnormal noise or smell, please turn it off and unplug it from the power socket immediately.
- Keep it away from sunlight and direct heat sources.
- Do not attempt to repair or replace parts by yourself. Please send it to BioCair Customer Care for further assistance on servicing your unit. Unauthorized modifications or restructuring of the Pro II Dry-Mist Disinfection Machine may lead to inconvenience or dangers.
- If not in use, please unplug and store it properly.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by BioCair Customer Care or a qualified person in order to avoid an electrical hazard.
- Children should be supervised by a parent or guardian to prevent any potential hazards
- Do not fill the water tank with abrasive or corrosive chemicals.
- Do not operate the Pro II Dry-Mist Disinfection Machine near water or with wet hands.
- Do not soak the base in water. If it is soaked in water, unplug the adaptor and contact BioCair Customer Care immediately.
- Switch off the power supply before unplugging the Pro II Dry-Mist Disinfection Machine.
- Do not connect or disconnect the adaptor from the electrical outlet with wet hands to avoid an electrical shock.
- Do not place the adapter under Pro II Dry-Mist Disinfection Machine or any heavy items.
Storage
The original packaging is ideal to store the unit. Please store in a dust-free and moisture-free environment. Make sure the parts are cleaned properly and ensure it is completely dry before storage.
WATER TANK
- The water tank should be cleaned regularly, most preferably once every 7 days with clean water and a soft brush.
- Excess Air Purifying Solution left in the water tank should be used within 7 days.
- Detach tank from machine base, empty the solution contents from the machine.
- Rinse the tank, tank cap and mist cap with clean water, use a soft brush or sponge to rub gently if required.
TRANSDUCER
- As time passes, there might be mineral residue from tap water left on the object surface, transducer, water groove and ground, which affects the functionality of the machine. In order to clean the transducer, please
- Make sure to unplug before cleaning.
- Use clean water to clean the transducer.
- Use a soft cloth to clean the surface of the transducer. Do not use hard tools to scratch its surface.
- Do not use soap or other alkaline substances to clean the transducer.
BASE
- If the water groove and water level detector contain mineral sediments, clean the water groove with clean water and a soft cloth.
- Soak the reservoir with 2 tablespoons of baking soda, add 4 tablespoons of vinegar. Allow it to soak for 2 hours and rinse off thoroughly with water.
- For severe cases, soaking for up to 4 hrs might be required.
- Do not immerse the base in water and make sure that no water enters the vent.
